Decoration Inspiration

Below are a few things I am admiring right now. I basically want to live in a log cabin and am most happy in the woods. But, lots of factors keep me stuck in the city, so I am just going to try and bring the comfort of the trees and the light of the sun inside, with the addition of stacks of books and beautiful art, to create the coziest living room :

1. Woods Wallpaper - This is on its way to our house! We are going to wallpaper one accent wall, and then surround it with plants. 2. Chesterfield Sofa - Saving up for this one. I've been admiring this couch for *years*. It …

1. Woods Wallpaper - This is on its way to our house! We are going to wallpaper one accent wall, and then surround it with plants.

2. Chesterfield Sofa - Saving up for this one. I've been admiring this couch for *years*. It is perfect.

3. Hoop Mirror - I'd like to add a couple of large mirrors to help brighten and enlarge our living room and dining rooms.

4. Chair - A couple of our living room chairs are in need of replacement. They were both less than $50 and purchased in college, so...time for an upgrade.

5. Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree - I love these plants. Bought one this summer and neglected it so...back to Bachman's.

6. Torey Erin painting - Forage Modern Workshop carries original artwork from local artists, and this past year I visited their shop a few times to admire Torey Erin's paintings. I love the abstract mess of this and the flurry of bright colors would add the perfect pop to anyone's wall.

(Here is a throwback to a post I did on my old blog back in 2011 - glad to know my style preferences are consistent :) I would still go for that pink tree wallpaper, but, we painted a whole wall that color already).
