Fruitful Fertility

I adore working with start-ups and small businesses and non-profits. Watching people dive into their dreams, help communities, and grow networks is so extremely inspiring, and important for this world.

Elyse started her non-profit, Fruitful Fertility, a couple of years ago. As she explains, after years of struggling with infertility, she was not always able to find the support she was looking for as she went through the process. Her organization connects those struggling with infertility with mentors who have been through the experience. From her site: “Elyse eventually learned that the best people to talk to about infertility were those who had been through the struggle firsthand but were now safely on the other side. These fertility warriors offered the best of both worlds: true empathy, along with perspective, shared knowledge and emotional stability.”

I’ve had several friends deal with infertility, and I can only imagine through their descriptions how hard, long, exhausting, and heartbreaking the process can be.

As a woman in my early 30s, it’s hard not to think about the what-ifs of my own fertility. When, and if, I do head down that path, I am a little more confident in knowing there is a community available if infertility is an issue. And, I am so grateful to Elyse and her team for creating a space like Fruitful as a resource to all who may need that community.

Below are a few photos from our shoot that she’ll use for press releases, social, publications, etc.
