Spring

While work has slowed down substantially, and the world has been basically turned upside down over the last couple of months, I’ve had trouble finding inspiration for photography. I think a lot of that has been my personal anxiety - my energy has been sapped from reading the news, thinking about the uncertainty of everything, worrying about friends, family, front line workers, etc.

But, yesterday I brought my camera along on a walk and forced myself to just focus on looking for calming, pretty things. I ended up feeling that little energetic rush after finding and photographing a pretty scene - capturing a little something that caught my eye. Below are a few of those pictures. I hope this is the start of feeling a bit more like myself again, despite still being in the midst of this pandemic.
