A couple of weeks ago I got to photograph a beautiful, teeny, outdoor wedding at a private home in Minneapolis. While the size of the wedding may have been small, the celebration, love and beauty were anything but! A few photos below of the bride and groom, family, and some of the gorgeous details of the day.

This was the first event I’d taken photos at during Covid. This setting felt safe - outdoors, distanced, all photos involving people taken with a long lens so I could be extra far away.

But, I think this is the only type of setting I’d be comfortable. Going into winter, I have made the hard decision that I won’t be photographing any indoor events. The risk feels too high, and, I think my worry and concern would get in the way of being able to focus on capturing the images I’d want. So, I’m especially thankful for this couple, and the beautiful day I got to photograph! Not sure when the next one will be.
