~~Wonderful Waves~~
This was taken on Sunday -- still a couple days before the 50+ mph winds
I just spent five blissful days on the North Shore -- I wish it had been fifty! I’m currently processing tons and tons of photos from the trip -- pictures of friends, an engagement shoot, a ton of nature/wildlife photos -- so I’ll be posting a few different sets in the next few days. Below, though, I've collected a set of water and wave shots. Winds were 50+ mph on Tuesday, so of course Lake Superior was extremely active. I've said this before, but the whole lake is hypnotizing to me, and when the waves are rolling, I can't stop taking pictures. The series below is from a few different locations/times of day, and it always amazes me how different the water can look -- sometimes it's dark a gray, others it's as blue as a lagoon, when the sun sets it can be a golden red all over.
