Hawthorne NYC

Alright, I am slowly but surely making my way through all the different photos I took in NYC earlier this month - just need to get a few more blog posts up and you'll have seen it all :).

I was lucky enough to be out east when my brother and his band, Hawthorne (I sure love their name!), were playing. I had *so* much fun seeing my them live at The Wayland, and I also got to do a little photo shoot with the group later in the week. The band has been together for a couple years and they play rock n' roll with a throwback sound (original tracks and a magical cover of Mama Tried, among other classics). It is amazing to see these guys perform - they are all ridiculously talented musicians (they met while studying at Manhattan School of Music, so, they are all actually beyond amazing). They have a debut album coming out in the next few months, but you can listen to some demos here.
